Abstract
The talk will assess strengths and weaknesses of today's Internet, as a
foundation for tomorrow's information world. It will address the likely
evolution of information related business activities and technological
offerings during the next five years along with the Internet's role in
these developments. The talk will conclude with desirable actions to be
taken, and to be avoided to ensure a smooth and speedy evolution of an
effective Internet in the future.
